Adam Kortynski and Adrian Musel from our club, as a part of the NSW Sabre Team, consisting also of Andy Jiang and Sebastian Van Der Eyk, won the GOLD MEDAL

The Polish team took the Silver medal in the Men's Team Epee final. The heavily favored French team won the match 45:29. In the dramatic semi-final Poland had defeated China 45:44 to get to the Gold medal match.

Jerzy and Adam Kortynski visited fencing club 'Zjednoczeni' at Pabianice, Poland. They met Janusz Keller (President) and Przemyslaw Pawlowski (Head Coach) from whom Adam took fencing lesson.

The PAFC is affiliated to the NSW Fencing Association Inc. (NSWFA) www.nswfencing.org.au. This provides our fencers with full insurance and allows them access state, interstate and international tournaments. Our goal is to introduce children to a sport which has evolved through the centuries passing through the era of chivalry to the very exciting and athletic sport of today.

Jerzy Kortynski founded fencing club which is has been named Polish Australian Fencing Club. This is continuation of previous fencing clubs founded by Jerzy “Polonia– International’ 1988.

16 July 2012 Brisbane - Adam Kortynski and Adrian Musel from our club, represented St Andrews College and NSW in Sabre Team, won the GOLD MEDAL at Australian Schools Fencing Championships.
Adam won bronze medal individually.
Fencers from PAFC St Andrews College, Marayong, in team State Schools Championships and won the GOLD MEDAL in boys foil U/13.
